Day four of Web 2.0 and Social Media for Development where we're learning more ways of using social media networks. Ranging from google search, where we covered ways and short cuts used on google for searching. Google search; more useful ways of using rss feeds, search links, sites used for searching curated articles.
Also covered during the week was remote collaboration
tools. This is where you can collaborate documents online, share, call conferencing,
video conferencing. Share maps, documents collaboration/sharing using google drives on docs.google.com and also use www.gliffy.com for graphs etc. Part of the training has included cloud storage and dropbox, online collaboration
using maps (mapping), creating
a map (google maps), publishing.
